ShwinnInnovations, LLC and the Push2BeGreat Brand continue to work diligently to seek out partnerships with local school districts. Once these partnership are established, efforts will begin to prepare for piloting of ILC’s curriculum in a phased approach (September 2021). We will first pilot the Innovative Learning Curriculum (ILC) in the inner cities of Detroit and Flint to gauge its successes. Teachers effective in their instructional practices will be identified and receive training in ILC. When supporting diverse populations of learners, educators must incorporate instructional practices that give each student equitable access and opportunity to learn. In the 21st century, we now know, instructors must be equipped with a toolbox heavily equipped with a range of methods / strategies, materials and assessments that will support all students through high-quality instruction in the K-12 setting. The unique design and framework of the Innovative Learning Curriculum (ILC) will transform the way instruction is delivered in our inner cities, making content meaningful to students and engaging learners with interactive projects that embed grade level Common Core State Standards (CCSS).
